Mitigate retail loss during scanning at staffed checkout lanes. Evercheck can also be applied to staffed lanes to help detect and alert on instances of employee sweet-hearting and other scan avoidance patterns causing retail loss. Enabling the retailer to identify areas where additional staff compliance training is needed.

Another major contributing factor to loss at self-checkout occurs when customers leave the POS terminal with unpaid products in their hands, basket or cart before completing their transaction. Evercheck provides smart detection by alerting only on unpaid purchasable products, excluding personal items. Moreover, the solution is configurable and can be tailored to the retailer's bullpen configuration and overall front-end requirements.

Evercheck applies the same LISA and BOB principles of Basket-Based Loss to Cart-Based Loss – leading to the loss recovery at self-checkout for any unscanned items left inside or at the bottom of the shopping cart. Evercheck will trigger real-time alerts to store associates to assist customers when it detects unscanned items as payment begins. Importantly, alerts are only generated for the retailer’s products, not personal items (e.g. cell phones, handbags, hoodies).

Everseen invented the “nudge”, a real-time prompt encouraging the shoppers to rescan items, via a GIF pointing to the unscanned item. Similarly, it provides a real-time alert for associates to verify scan accuracy at staffed lanes. This capability is configurable, allowing customer messaging and notifications to adapt to different retailers' requirements.
